Our mindset or frame of mind is the summation of all our day-to-day thoughts and notions. Our mindset forms our thought habits; which then shapes our over-all perspective and influences our behavior and emotions. While we cannot always control our thoughts, we do have the power to choose what to indulge and what not to honor.
Every December, my friends Bianca, Anna, Chely and I, reflect on the mindset we’d like to have for the following year and the ‘word’ we’d like to live by. This way we can support each other’s growth and progress throughout the year. For 2021, B decided to record and share our conversation for posterity, for old time’s sake (the four of us used to host a podcast called Coffee Break), and most importantly, for greater accountability (*nervous laugh).
